This is an easy dice race for French 1 or French 2. Students work in partners to create and translate sentences.
*This is not meant to be some sort of earth-shattering creative activity. I use it because I find that sometimes students can know how to conjugate / know how to form a tense, but they have no idea what it actually MEANS. This is an easy way to check for understanding.*
I like it because:
-students work together (so students who struggle can find success faster when they aren't immediately defeated because they're alone)
-sentences aren't GIVEN to them--they have to work to construct them
-it practices affirmative and negative sentences
-it practices translating
-game sheet for students
-directions for teacher
