This packet helps the adult ESL learner understand the use and formation of Passive Voice, both "regular" passive forms with "Be" and "Get" as well as "causative" passive forms with "Get" or "Have". The elements of a Passive Voice sentence are shown in an easy to understand chart that allows students to practice their own sentences in a very controlled way. The packet also includes an explanation of when/why we use Passive Voice and whether or when to eliminate the "by......" phrase. There is also an activity included that guides students into identifying Passive vs. Active Voice. Many other handouts, including this one, are available in my book, "Let's Look At It This Way!", which is available in my store. It's actually a pretty good deal. For the cost of a few handouts, you get 50+ to reproduce for your instructional and classroom use.
