This passport is a excellent way to document the journey your class will take through time. The passport features a page for all the major ancient civilizations, as well as the major world religions.
Each page features a map/symbol, a title, lines to record facts/important information, and lines to record important cities. Each location is doubled up on each page to utilize the entire paper- so you would need to cut it in half. The passport- once fully assembled- will be a small booklet resembling a real life travel passport.
I included a rubric/ scoring guide on the backside of the passport- each page (14 different pages) has 3 categories-neatness, facts and major cities- each of these categories is worth 1 point- for a total of 14 points per category.
I recommend passing these out and recollecting them at the end of a chapter for younger grades 5-6th who struggle with organization. With older classes, they can be responsible for this booklet for the duration of the school year.
The following units are included:
Europe (Medieval or Renaissance)
*I attached a different passport cover on the last page in case you are using this for a grade level different than 6th grade.
What a neat way to reflect and revisit all the information gathered and places your students have learned about! ENJOY! Please follow me on TPT and leave your feedback.
