Teaching diversity in the classroom - no matter the age of the students - is a crucial lesson to implement. By introducing this lesson, students will be taught that everyone is unique, everyone should be treated equally, and that discrimination is hurtful. Along with these powerful messages, students will get the opportunity to travel the world and learn about four different countries and learn the differences of each. You can even create your own countries! Students will read four passages, each passage representing a country. Once they learn a little about each country, they will be given a passport. They must read each page of the passport and use their new knowledge to place the right country's stamp on the right page. This lesson is fun, engaging, and can be laminated to be used time and time again. The lesson includes all materials needed - even the complete lesson plan! Thank you for your interest! Happy teaching!
