This bundle includes all lesson plans (1-8) in Unit 3 + Vocabulary cards with visuals for each lesson.

The lessons are written in an "I do, We do, You do" format. There are opportunities for turn and talk. All lessons except for lesson 1 and lesson 8 include 2 differentiated tasks for students who are far below grade level and on grade level. Lesson 8 requires writing a persuasive essay.

You need the student workbook for some of the passages that are required for the lesson.

The following lessons contain tasks to use for students who are far below grade level and approaching/on grade level.

  • Lesson 3: Population Density
  • Lesson 4: Types of Transportation in Urban, Suburban, and Rural Communities
  • Lesson 5: Activities in Different Communities

  • Lesson 7: Why People Move
  • Lesson 8: Comparative Case Study: Urban, Suburban, and Rural Communities (2 day lesson)

The other lessons require pages in the workbook as written on the lesson plan.
