Password is a game you can use to quickly check what your students know! It is a fun, quick game students will enjoy.
Write a word or topic on the password poster. Your
students need to tell you something that relates to that topic. For
example: Habitats. Your students might tell you: it’s a certain place
where animals live; a specific habitat- such as swamps for alligators; or the habitats that can be found in your state.
You can also write a math equation that they need to solve (mentally).
It’s great to place by the door, so if they answer the “password” theycan then enter (or exit).
If students tell you something correct, they can get a “power pellet”.
I like to use skittles (and they get one) but you can use any sort of
array of incentives. Small stickers would work well too.
Use the sticker chart to graph how many pellets they get for extra
incentive. Have fun!
**Includes printable sticker chart and EDITABLE chart for you to add student names for easier printing.
