Fill-in-the blank cards. (Eg. I am ____, You are ____, We are ____, etc.)
Cookie Jar Game. Children need to put the cookies into the right jars. There are 5 jars: am, is, are, was, were and cookies given. Each cookie has a sentence with a blank that needs to be filled in. Students need to fill in the blank with the correct verb-to-be. For ‘was’ and ‘were’. You should do present and past tense separately. When you do past tense, remember to tell your students that the sentences happened already!
