Posters (Past, Present, Future in color and black/white)
Picture Sort-Students sort the pictures from the past and the present and then complete a cut/glue activity independently
Venn Diagram-Students sort statements by Past, Present, and Both then complete their own venn-diagram
Picture Sorts and Writing Pages-Students sort Cars, Toys, Phones, and Computers from the past and present and then write about the differences and similarities
Life in the Past Cards-Students read about life in the past and compare it to life in the present
Picture Match-Students look at pictures of items from the past and match them with their name and how people used them (car, phonograph, telephone, zeppelin, washing machine, typewriter, telegraph)
Inference Activity-Students look at pictures of items from the past and infer what they are and how people used them (camera, clock, floppy disk, roller-skate, VCR, mixer, lantern, cash register, radio, cassette, outhouse, movie projector)
Interactive Book-Students read about items from the past and draw what they use in the present
