Play this game to practise changing between present and past tense.
How to play:
Print and laminate the game board for durability.
Place the picture cards in a pile upside down next to the game board.
Each player takes a turn to roll a dice and move along the game board.
They then select a picture card from the pile and depending on the icon they have landed on (present or photo) they have to say a sentence using the correct tense.
For example: The player lands on a present icon (they will need to use present tense). They then select the card of children jumping on a bed. They will say aloud 'the girls are jumping on the bed'.
You may like to have your students use the recording sheet to write down their sentence so that you can monitor their progress.
