This resource goes perfectly with learning of both avoir and être verbs during learning of the past perfect, by providing a series of exercises getting gradually more challenging to help pupils consolidate learning.
Section one - Pupils are given an être verb in the past perfect with a past participle, they need to add on the agreements to the participle, and then translate the sentence into English.
Section two - Pupils are provided with the whole sentence, but with the unconjugated verb. They need to supply the correct past participle with the correct agreement, also filling in the correct part of être.
Section three - this is the same as section two, however pupils now need to decide if the verbs take avoir or être.
This makes a great homework activity following on from learning of the past perfect, and can be marked in class with peer marking.
