Students will use the following rules to complete the activity:

Period Rules:
-Use a period at the end of a declarative sentence
-Use periods after initials of names
-Use periods after abbreviated titles of respect
-Use periods after abbreviations of days and months

Comma Rules:
-Use a comma after yes or no at the beginning of a sentence
-Use a comma after the name of the person you are speaking to in a sentence
-Use a comma to seperate the name of a town or city from the name of a state
-Use a comma to separate words or groups of words in a series
-Use a comman to separate parts of the date

Quotation Marks:
-Using commas in quotation marks
-Where to place quotation marks
-What a direct quotation is
-What a speaker tag is
