Clip cards are great for independent practice in centers or small groups. Included answers adhered to back of cards (or stickers of your choosing) allows for self-correction. Using clothespins or clips helps strengthen the pincer grasp. Of course, dry-erase markers, counters, or seasonal items can be used to mark the answers instead.
Children will identify the number of syllables in the given image, attach a clothespin to the correct numeral, and flip the card to check their answer.
