This is a word search vocabulary activity where students fill in the blanks on one side (I provide a definition, and they must fill in the word) and then find the words in the word search puzzle on the other side of the paper. I use this in my unit on "pathogens" - fungi, protozoa, bacteria, viruses, viroids, and prions. Some of the words in this activity include mycelium, lysogenic, capsid, flagella, and others.
I did not provide a word bank, but I did provide an answer key, so you can choose to add a word bank if your students need it. The puzzle is difficult but my students still love it anyway.
