Goals: Goals: expressive language, vocabulary development

These game boards with their adorable Smarty Symbols will be a hit in your therapy room with both you and students!

To play: Each player receives a different animal game board. On your turn, label a picture and every player covers the picture. The goal is to be the first one to make a path from sea to sea or forest to forest. Remember paths can be winding! (Variations include, naming the animal baby--harder than you think!--or where the animal lives.)

My students like to use flat marbles (“stepping stones”) to cover, but you can also use “chippers” or dry erase marker.

The forest/sea theme can be used at any time, but is particularly fun when discussing vacations (beach or mountains?), pioneer or explorer units.

This FREEBIE includes four animal game boards.
