This pack contains a wide variety of activities for the virtue of PATIENCE. The activities are for grades 2-5, but can be used with younger and older - just depending on your class. They can be used anytime, nothing is specific to a season/holiday to build PATIENCE.

Patience T-chart (large and small)
Patience Poster – A poster that describes Patience. Can be read aloud as a class.
Quotes – 5 quotes that speak to what patience is. These lead to great discussions about patience - how to have it and the importance of it.
Quote processing page – a ½ sheet for students to process what a quote means.
Patience Project - A class project for what to do in situations that require lots of patience
Video/Stories – (sample answers included) There is 1 video and 1 storybook processing pages. The processing page helps them think about what the story says about PATIENCE. Please make sure you view them prior to the students to ensure they are appropriate for your class. Answer keys are included with possible answers and an additional book list is included for more reading.
PATIENCE Role Play – 12 situations that commonly happen (enough roles for up to 30 students.) Students can act these out to practice showing responsible choices and using language that shows PATIENCE.
Timeline of Patience - Many things in life require patience. Students will reflect on what they have done in their life (learning to ride a bike) and what they will do in the future.
PATIENCE Debates – 10 discussion starters about PATIENCE – great for Morning Meeting! After discussing, the students can fill out the processing page with a partner.
Word Wall – Common words used when talking about PATIENCE. Students can use for speaking and writing.
Patience at home - Three activities for students to complete at home during the month - some take more time and others less.
