Product Description
Patrick Henry's iconic Speech to the Virginia Convention, often called the "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" Speech, is not only an important historical document, but a wonderful example of effective rhetorical strategies. This file will allow students to digitally annotate his speech for things like flattery, logos, pathos, ethos, rhetorical question, repetition, and others. This could be completed as is in Microsoft Word, or pasted into a Google Doc to be used with Google Classroom or as a collaborative piece. This is also a wonderful way to model annotation or to annotate within the paperless classroom.
