Differentiated Reading Passages and Writing Prompts:

Labeled with one star (grades 4 & 5) or two stars (grades 6 & 7) students will have the ability to read and understand the reasoning behind why we honor this day. There is also a places to visit and timeline, as well as two writing prompts pages (plain with lines and a lightly shaded star with lines)

Words to Know Vocabulary:

Students can familiarize themselves with words about Patriot Day, write definitions and draw an illustration.

Reading Assessment:

One star is a 7 question assessment with vocabulary, comprehension, and a short answer response. Two stars includes 10 questions with the same categories.

Answer keys are included for the vocabulary and assessments.
