These patriotic favorites, "You're a Grand Old Flag" and "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy" by George Cohan, are in my Color-Chord-inated format. They're easy to pull together, even for inexperienced teachers or students, and they will help you and your students shine. These pieces can be performed as a medley (performance sequence included) or as separate numbers. This format is great for building reading fluency and hand-eye coordination, developing steady beat and timing, and exploring/contrasting melody and harmony.
Included: Teaching guide, chord and lyrics charts, color-coded staff chart, and color-coded labels for converting plain instruments into Color-Chord-inated ones : ) Charts may be projected or printed.
Check out the preview file to see the tone set and nice quality of these materials. Note: Even if you don't have Bb and F# Boomwhackers or bells, you can make this work with a diatonic set by filling in with guitar, uke or piano chords (and singing, of course).
