Within this resource you will find ten pattern centers designed to help your students strengthen their skills in a hands-on and interactive way. This particular group of centers could be used with multiple grade levels. In younger grades you can focus on representing the continuing pattern, while recording the number sequence. In the higher grades you have them describe the pattern, determine the algebraic equation, and even graph the equation.
I have supplied you with 4 different versions of instructions that you can choose to have students complete depending on their abilities, and the concepts you have covered in class.
I have also included a detailed description on how to use centers in your classroom and some tips on how to use centers as a form of assessment.
