Pattern writing made fun with stories about fruit, nature, Thanksgiving, the farm, weather and winter! The primary use of these pattern stories is twofold. The first is to have children use a pencil, color pen or color pencil to trace inside the letters. This will reinforce their writing skill.
The second is to have children comprehend the story by creating their own picture to match the text. The picture is separated from the text so that the children can read the text, not the picture. By orally reading the pattern sentences, the child will develop confidence.
