PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

There are many ways to practice making AB, ABC, or AABB patterns. But to make a pattern that works both horizontally, vertically, and diagonally is a bit harder. This activity will give your students practice making patterns in all directions.

This works well with the primary colored plastic bear counters, unifix cubes, colored chips, or any other counter that has the four colors of red, blue, yellow, and green.

You can copy these on paper or card stock, laminate them and put them into a center or use with a small group setting. It can be used independently as there are answer keys provided. You can also print off the papers without laminating them so the students can fill them in with the correct colors and turn them in for checking.
