Teaching third grade students to recognize a rule or fill in the next number in a pattern can be very difficult! In this unit, students get to practice identifying patterns that involve addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. Worksheets, a mini-lesson, and a game are all included!
I created this product to help my students better grasp patterns with four worksheets that expose them to function tables, missing numbers, patterns in the multiplication table, and identifying the pattern rule using multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. This product also includes a mini lesson or interactive notebook page with photos showing you how to help students glue the notes into their notebooks. This gives students something to reference when they get stuck or need help while doing homework at home. Finally, this product includes one game called "Guess My Pattern" and one activity where students have to match the pattern to a key to help clip art kids get home to the right house!
