This is a fun, imaginative and engaging project to use as a performance assessment for a unit on Patterns.
In the assignment students must pretend they are an architect and design a city that contains various types of patterns. Students must include repeating patterns, increasing patterns and patterns which use skip counting. Students are able to demonstrate their knowledge using numbers and pictures!
