This product is 4 pages of practice problems on recognizing patterns in tables. Students need to find the rule of the pattern and be able to extend the table. I created these because my math curriculum did not have much to offer on tables and finding the rule in patterns, yet students often struggle with this concept. I have used these as guided practice, homework, or classwork, depending on the needs of my class.
These questions directly reflect typical end-of-grade test questions and require problem solving.

These items have been used in a 3rd grade classroom, as they directly correlate with the 3rd Grade CC Objective:
CCSS.Math.Content.3.OA.D.9 Identify arithmetic patterns (including patterns in the addition table or multiplication table), and explain them using properties of operations.
This could also be used in a 4th grade classroom to teach the objective:
CCSS.Math.Content.4.OA.C.5 Generate a number or shape pattern that follows a given rule.
