This is a webquest activity that has students analyze four different accounts of Paul Revere's famous ride, and find similarities and differences amongst the sources/documents.
The accounts of this event are in a variety of formats, from multiple sources (primary sources of the event, a video, and an online article with a poem).
Students will determine whether each document is a firsthand or secondhand account, the author's purpose of each source, and analyze for important details/information about them. Students will then compare and contrast two of the documents, drawing on details from each text.
