Online games are a sure way to engage every student in your classroom. The Peace Doves Game is an online flash-based game developed by the Nobel e-Museum.
The mission is to accurately send eight peace doves to countries with nuclear weapons. The students are given a series of clues and have two attempts to end each dove to it’s successful location. I require students to play the game until the correctly send each peace dove.
In addition to the game website, students will need access to a search engine to look up the clues.
This download serves as a note sheet for students to record their clues and to gather facts about the current state of nuclear weapons around the world. These doves have so much attitude the students won’t even realize they are learning!!
