For partner activities I have some kids in the classroom be a peanut butter and some a jelly. I will put the tags on their desks. When they are doing partner activities this helps with the “who goes first”. Now there is no fighting on the issue because it’s all figured out! Also, it works really well if you don’t want two kids to ever be partners, you just make them both the same thing.
