Learning Can Be FUN for All Ages!
This is a video guide handout for, "Charlie Brown/Peanuts: Mayflower Voyagers". I was able to find the video by searching YouTube for "Charlie Brown Mayflower Voyagers". I do not guarantee that the video is still available for free.
It has been my experience that if students do not have anything to do during a video, they do not pay attention. However, if you have them take notes or answer questions with written answers, they are too distracted. The purpose of a video should be to enhance learned material. I use these questions as a guide to make sure students are paying attention, but in a format that is simple enough that they are able to absorb (and enjoy!) the information in the video. All they have to do is listen for the answer and circle/highlight it. This usually keeps them on their toes!
My 8th graders LOVE to watch this video!
