There is a wonderful page generated by the National WWII Museum in which students learn about the attack on Pearl Harbor. It has an interactive timeline with oral histories from Japanese pilots and American servicemen. I have made a question and answer guide for each step of the way for students. It's a completely independent activity, but you could facilitate it in class if you wanted to. I really like the authentic, first-hand history and total silence from my kids as they tune-in to it for a class period (is that bad)? It has generally taken them 40-50 minutes to complete and is quite powerful. Sometimes a follow-up discussion is beneficial. P.S. Students will need a computer with either speakers or ear buds to do this!
