Using a clip from the movie Pearl Harbor (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsxywOwyOJg) students will answer thought provoking questions about this major event in American history.
This activity pushes students to think outside the box, not just memorize facts. This is a great introduction to the topic, or a wrap up of Japanese aggression in the WW2 era.
Can also be used to "flip the classroom" but having students watch the video and do the questions at home so they are prepared for a deeper discussion during class time.
