Students will have fun learning and practicing identifying the correct form of singular and plural possessive nouns in this interactive SMARTboard lesson. The underwater theme asks students to move the pearl with the correct possessive form of the noun to the clamshell. If they move the correct one, it will disappear. If they do not move the correct one, it will bounce back. Slides are all self checking in this manner. This lesson can be used multiple times and can easily be adapted to a teacher directed mini lesson, a small group, or as independent practice in a center or station. Help students strengthen their understanding of how to write a singular possessive noun and a plural possessive noun by putting the apostrophe in the correct place. Created with Smart Notebook 11.
