A perfect activity for math centres/stations or to use during small group instruction. It covers skills such as part-part-whole and addition.
One student chooses a number card and puts that many pennies in the piggy bank. Then the second student covers their eyes while the first student puts some of the pennies under a cup. The second student has to figure out how many pennies are under the cup.
You can have a set number of pennies to work on number combinations (ie. 5 or 10) or use the provided number cards to work on combinations from 3-20.
