This document is a peer editing workshop that involves the entire class. Each student will leave having had multiple peer editors review their writing. The activity is quiet and produces a variety of suggestions for the author to consider when revising and editing.
Basically, each rough draft is passed around the classroom (in an order established by the teacher beforehand). Each peer editor makes corrections on the draft itself and then makes one compliment and one suggestion for improvment. Then, a rating is given as well. The activity works the best if the teacher participates.
