Product Description
Having two or more sets of eyes on a written composition is beneficial to students. The writer has the opportunity to get feedback from his/her peers before submitting the final product to the teacher, and the peer evaluator practices evaluating writing.

This is an easy but thorough checklist for students to score their peers' expository writing. The writer can agree or disagree with the score and explain why the writing deserves a different score. Students can also use their peers' feedback to improve their writing. This checklist can be edited to meet your requirements.

After students have written an expository text, they will exchange papers with a peer and evaluate each other's writing. Students can write their names on the back of their writing or use ID numbers for anonymity.

Once the paper is returned to the writer, the writer has the opportunity to not only make revisions but to also disagree with the evaluation.

When the teacher collects the final product, (s)he will also collect the peer evaluation form. The teacher will, of course, determine the final grade.
