This gives students the opportunity to practice giving their peers constructive feedback in a positive, supportive way. Offering constructive feedback isn't always easy and doesn't come naturally to everyone. Taking on constructive criticism can also be difficult, and yet these will be encountered by students throughout their lives at school, tertiary studies, work etc. It is for these reasons that I believe these skills should be taught and practiced from a young age. The 2 stars and a wish format keeps things light hearted and fun, while giving students the opportunity to practice these important life skills.
Students fill in these forms while watching their peers doing a speech, debate, or any other kind of presentation. They could also be used at the end of a group activity.
I have created a colour version for younger stages and a simple black and white version for the later stages.
