Full Peer Helper Training Program with everything you need to train your Peer Helpers or Mediators.

Recent studies indicate that Peer Helpers can influence change in behavior and even attitude within other students.  Teenagers are more likely to accept feedback from peers on how they are perceived as persons and also as helpers (listeners) in solving problems. They gain an additional perspective on alternatives in decision-making as well as preparation for accepting consequences for decisions. Peer Helpers also learn leadership, compassion, and organizational skills.

This manual includes an introduction to peer helping programs and training with ideas on how to structure your training. Seven 1-2 hour workshops with in depth activities, custom scenarios, and handouts. Five supplemental workshops with activities and handouts. Peer Helper contract and training evaluation also included.
