This is a form I developed for my students to fill out when doing peer reviews of each other's writing. I do a lot of peer reviews in my class because I've found that it helps the student who is doing the reviewing actually do better on his/her own paper. It seems that, once students have to put themselves in my shoes and scrutinize an essay, they seem to understand better what I'm looking for. So, peer review is something I use a lot, and the questions on this response form require the student to think about specific aspects of the paper and answer directly instead of saying, "It's good!" or giving some other superficial response.
