This is a very thorough peer review and breakdown of their essays. It is done in partners, and it allows students to focus on their organization and development of ideas. To do this activity, students will need a completed essay to review. This is tailored for an expository essay- standardized testing essay. I recommend reviewing or modeling finding thesis and other elements of writing prior to pairing students.
