Peg it! Number and Place Value Activity

Use this engaging, hands-on resource for math centers, independent fast finisher activities or part of a whole class demonstration.

This resource contains number representations on clothes. Write the corresponding number on a peg. Students love matching the peg to the number card and pegging it on a piece of string, pretending it's pegging clothes on a clothesline.

• 6 sets of numbers to 20 (6 cards in each set);
• 6 sets of two-digit numbers (6 cards in each set);

• Clothesline worksheet for students to order numbers

Number representations on the cards include - word form, tallies, MABs/base 10 blocks, find on a number line, find on a hundreds chart, expanded notation, standard and non-standard partitioning, counting patterns.
