Pemdas: A set of five pemdas activities, including a code breaker, matching activity, maze, puzzles and a quiz to help students master the order of operations. Pack Includes:

Pemdas Puzzles
These puzzles require students to use pemdas to figure out what the missing numbers in the calculations will be.

Pemdas Code Breaker
Use the order of operations to reveal the secret message!
Students must correctly calculate the value of a set of calculations sums by using PEMDAS. Each answer gives them part of the secret message, which spells out a joke when complete.

Pemdas True or False Maze
Use PEMDAS to find your way through the maze, from start to finishing block, by deciding which of the calculations correctly follow the order of operations.

Pemdas Matching Activity
Use the order of operations to match the calculations to their correct answers!

Pemdas Assessment
A short assessment to see whether they have really understood the idea of the order of operations. Answers are included.

Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole-number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations). For example, use the formulas V = s³ and A = 6 s² to find the volume and surface area of a cube with sides of length s = 1/2.
