Penguin Board Games! In this file you will receive two Penguin Roll and Cover game boards, a Shake, Waddle, & Roll game board, and a set of 0-10 Penguin Number Cards! These games are perfect activities to keep in your math center during your winter theme or penguin unit! These games also make great partner activities!
Penguin Roll and Cover game boards - One board has numerals 1-6 and the other has number dots. Using a foam dice, students roll and cover matching number with bingo chips, unifix cubes, pom poms, or animal erasers.
Shake, Waddle, Roll game board - Help the little penguin cross the ice and reach his family! Using a foam dice, students roll and cover the "ice" squares with bingo chips, unifix cubes, pom poms or animal erasers until all squares are covered.
Penguin Number Cards - Post these winter penguins around the room and students can practice identifying numerals and number words. Eleven cards are included (numbers 0-10). Students can spy out penguins and write numbers on whiteboards or paper. My students LOVE this game we call "Number I Spy." Cards can also be used in the math center for students to practice putting in numerical sequence. Students can also match sets of stacked unifix cubes to cards as a fun center game!
I print all my games on card stock, laminate, and keep them on trays in the centers. Game pieces are placed in a small bowl, cup, or basket on the tray. This way students can easily play the game with it already set up for them and they can put it away neatly!
