Who doesn't love those cute and cuddly penguins? Well King Penguins get to be the size of a 4 year old. Not so cute! Teach your students how to do Informational Writing through my process of using Close Reading Texts and Inference. This process will help your students gather their thoughts and they will be amazed at the sentences they can come up with.
This is a great way to work on Informational Writing with your students. It will set the tone for the rest of their writing and will equip them with the skills to do it on their own.
These lesson plans are so detailed your substitute could take over the unit.
It ends with a Penguin Craftivity, yes that is a word. This would look great on a bulletin board for students to show off their hard work.
