Penguin Writing Activities {Christmas Themed}

These fun penguin activities are fun for Christmas time. Some of the penguin activities can be used all year round, so are good for an Arctic theme too.

This pack includes:

* Both U.S. and Australian spelling versions

Story Writing

• Story graphic organizer
• Completed graphic organizer and story examples
• Story writing paper (dotted lines, regular lines)
• Story paper for younger children (draw a picture and write a few lines of text)

Procedure Writing

• Cut and paste procedure worksheet (based on the craft)
• Write the procedure worksheet (based on the craft)
• Procedure task cards for modelling (e.g. cut, glue, color)

Other Penguin Worksheets

• Penguin facts - Write two facts about a penguin and then write these facts into sentences.
• Penguin labelling

Penguin Craft Templates

• Version One - Print and go (the children only need to color, cut and glue)
• Version Two - Is designed for use with black cardboard and googly eyes.
• Both templates provide the opportunity to review these 2D shapes: heart, circle, oval and triangle.
