Played just like Ghosts in the Graveyard.
I put students in groups of 4. Print out as many penguins as groups you have. I usually have about 7 groups so I print 7 of each penguin.
There are 3 questions per penguin. Groups get one penguin at a time. When they finish, they raise their hand and I check their answers. If everyone has the correct answers for all 3 questions, then they get to put their penguin in one of the arctics. I have 3 different pictures of "arctics" in protective sleeves hanging on the board. Students place the penguin in 1 of the 3 arctic. At the end of the game, I roll a dice an assign point values to the arctics. Arctic 1 could be worth 1 points and Arctic 2 could be worth 6. Therefore, students don't know which arctic would be the best til the end. Whoever has the most points wins!
