This Money Exchange Game is perfect to help your students understand the value of pennies, dimes, and a dollar by exchanging/trading 10 pennies for a dime and 10 dimes for a dollar. So easy to play independently or with a partner. I use real money to play in school (partners) but designed this to be used in school or sent home to practice/play with a family member.
*Copy on construction paper or cardstock and have kids either cut out one sheet (for one person) OR cut out TWO sheets which is enough for 2 players. (I just use regular copy paper.)
*Send home pieces in a baggie along with directions/game board OR send home EVERYTHING and have kids cut at home before playing.
*Allow kids to keep at home so they can play often OR collect and store for next year.
*Two game boards: BW and color version (not a lot of color)
* Two versions of directions to send home but only difference is that one says to use attached money in baggie while other says to cut money out.
*Money to cut out
