Are you looking for a game to help your students learn how to trade ten pennies for one dime. This game can be played individually, whole group, small group, or with pairs.
Students roll a dice and place that number of pennies on the game board. When a student has ten or more pennies, they can trade in ten pennies for one dime. The winner is the first to make one dollar or 10 dimes.
There are two versions of the board game. One with penny frames to help students see when they have ten and one for the more advanced without the penny frame.
There is also an extra penny, nickel, dime game board. Students can practice trading five pennies for one nickel and two nickels for one dime.
