A good table to help set up a lesson surrounding the Pentateuch.
When entering the room students are to select a piece of paper from a hat (you could even hide under their chair to be creative). This piece of paper has a number and a book of the Pentateuch.
After introducing students to the Pentateuch hand this worksheet out and get them to complete it in table groups based on a book of the Bible. They should be sitting with other students who drew the same book of the Bible out of the hat as them. Give students Bibles to assist with this.
Students then become an expert on this book and share their information with students who share the same number as them.
- Deconstruction table to guide analysis
- Draw cards for students to randomly draw the groups they will be working in.
