This Pentominoes - Activities for Common Core Standards Math - Geometry Pack is filled with printable activities to help your students continue to grow in their Mathematic Common Core Standards! You students will be problem solving with Pentominoes. Many of the activities are hands-on puzzle activities. As your students attempt to find solutions to these activities, they will use important strategies such as predicting, deductive reasoning, evaluating, revising, and recording results!
There are 2 sets of 12 Pentominoes. The first set is in color – each Pentomino shape is a different color to enable your students to differentiate each shape easily. The second set is in all black. Copy these sets onto card stock and/or have them laminated so that each student may have his/her own sets to keep!
