To review famous people and key terms associated with the period of American history between the end of the Civil War and the beginning of World War I.

TIME:
I do not have students work on this activity during class time.

There are 50 people and terms listed on the lesson sheets. The people are individuals who became famous by contributing to the political, social, and cultural development of the United States between 1865 and 1914. Students are asked to tell why each person became famous. They will also identify or give the meaning of various terms pertaining to the same time period.

Have class members use the textbook or any other available reference source.
