This worksheet explores the effects of increasing or decreasing the dimensions of solids by a certain percentage. It was inspired by a question from a practice book for the SAT 2 Math Subject Test. I kept having students ask me how to solve these types of problems, so I decided to make a worksheet (and a video!--see the link below).
This is a little advanced for the typical geometry class--perhaps it is best-suited for an honors class or as an exploratory assignment with some guidance.
